Amy J. Hardin, M.D.
Dr Amy Hardin, a board certified pediatrician, is a proud honors graduate of The Ohio State University for both undergrad and medical school. She then completed her pediatric training at Emory where she was a chief resident. She has served on the board of the Georgia American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) for two terms, as well as the National AAP with the Committee of Office and Practice Management.
Dr. Hardin has been a contributor to the AAP family website, Healthy Children (www.healthychildren.org) and also serves as a board member for the Physician’s Alliance of America, here in Atlanta. Dr. Hardin is known for creating lasting connections with families and enjoys helping families find ways to be healthy indoors and outdoors.
Dr. Hardin and her husband are active members of St Joseph Catholic Church and enjoy travel and bike rides both across the world and locally in Georgia for fun. They have two adult daughters who they think are pretty amazing! Both girls are UGA grads – one is a lobbyist in Washington DC and the other is at Mercer medical school.
Dr. Hardin finds one of the best rewards of being a long-standing pediatrician is the large number of former patients now bringing their children to see her. Seeing her “grand-patients” and her former patients being awesome parents brings her great happiness and is very humbling.
