Request A Referral

Most referrals are done during your office visit with your Northside Pediatrics provider.

We will explain the purpose of the referral and provide a list of pediatric specialists that we recommend. It will be your responsibility to verify the specialist is covered on your child’s particular insurance plan. We ask that you call our office back after booking the specialist appointment with date/time of the appointment, so we can make sure any office notes, labs or procedure/radiology notes can be forwarded to the correct doctor with time to spare.

If you are calling on your own for a referral, our referral coordinator will contact your child’s primary provider to complete the referral. We want our office to be the center of your child’s medical home, so we want to be aware any time they see a specialist.



It is very important to provide all specialists with our office information, so they may send us a report after your visit. This helps us stay up to date on your child’s health and follow up on any recommendations the specialist may have made.
