Adele H. Goodloe, M.D.

Dr. Adele H. Goodloe, board certified pediatrician, graduated summa cum laude with highest honors from the University of Georgia and was awarded UGA’s most prestigious scholarship, the Foundation Fellowship. She attended Mayo Medical School in the frozen tundra of Minnesota where she was also selected as 1 of 74 nationwide Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellows. She then migrated south for pediatric residency at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in 2013 in pursuit of her lifelong dream of caring for kids. Dr. Goodloe joined Northside Pediatrics in Woodstock, GA in 2016 and finds great joy in being a primary care physician in her community.

Dr. Goodloe is passionate about breastfeeding and childhood obesity prevention. In 2024, the Georgia AAP and the Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition certified Dr. Goodloe as a Breastfeeding-Friendly Pediatrician. She loves helping moms in their breastfeeding journey and problem solving any issues that may arise. Dr. Goodloe also enjoys being an active part of her community including school career days and finding opportunities to promote healthy habits such as Walk with a Doc events. Dr. Goodloe also serves the greater Atlanta area through her Kids Health First leadership roles where she is the chair of the Kids Health First Quality and Utilization Management Committee as well as a board member.

Dr. Goodloe has three elementary school children including a daughter born in 2014 and twins born in 2016. In her free time, you might find her running – whether it be for fitness or chasing her kids – in the best of ways, there is rarely a dull moment!
