Jonathan D. Winner, M.D.

Dr. Jonathan D. Winner, a board certified pediatrician, received his medical degree from the University of Iowa and his pediatric training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He established Northside Hospital’s intensive care nursery and served as its first chairman. He has been chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Northside, and also was a chairman of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Committee there for many years. He is particularly interested in the care of children with learning disabilities including attention disorders. He has served on the executive board of the Learning Disability Association of Georgia. Recently, he was instrumental in the formation of the Nurse Advice Line and the CHOA transfer center at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital. Dr. Winner has four grown children and four grandchildren.
